We’re into week three of Write Up North’s script-in-hand performances with a compelling triptych from Nic Owen. The Knot of Eve explores the spectrum of subtle manipulation and overt violence which society inflicts on women through their sexuality.
The Knot of Eve will be performed at the Bridge Hotel, Castle Garth, Newcastle, NE1 1RQ, Tuesday 9 April. Tickets are £3 on the door. Doors open at 8pm. Follow casting news, rehearsal room gossip and chat @artsintouch and on Facebook.
Sugar and spice and things not nice are the crux of this fearlessly feminine triptych. Ruby, Chloe and Erin, three ‘disobedient Eves’, face the price of a woman’s sexual expression.
Nic Owen is a Gateshead based writer. On her days off she mainly enjoys snowboarding, dog walking, cooking and massages. But not all at the same time.
